Today was apparently the hottest Bank Holiday Monday in May on record. That’s something isn’t it? So what did my partner and I chose to do today? Decorate her room. Yep, stuck in a small room, working up a sweat.
We work together well, she does the cutting in and I do the roller work. Her room went from a light green blue to aubergine purple and black. She’s living her best goth life now. Honestly, it looks gorgeous and she’s even added a few little touches by upcycling furniture with black paint and bat handles. It’s so her, I love it.
On a side note, I said that today is the hottest Bank Holiday Monday in May on record. There seems to be an increasing amount of hottest months and days each year. Nothing to do with climate change I suppose. That would be silly talk.
Anyway, the fans are on and we’re both pooped. A busy day of getting shit done.
