Whilst all the younger generation are running off to embrace retro analog technology (to post about it on the social media accounts) I have decided to start a blog. I used to have a blog many moons ago and I like the slow pace of it. I don’t get social media any more. The idea that everything is a quick hit to try get someone’s attention. I’m not about that. I just want to do what I do for the love of doing it and sitting down to write a lengthy post is something I want to do
Now come the intentions…
Look, I’m not a fool, this isn’t my first rodeo. I know that by sitting down to write my intentions down will mean an inevitable fall of not doing what I intend and I’m fine with that. Here is what I intend this place to be:
- Somewhere for me to post my random thoughts
- An online notebook for me to post information for me to find later but also share that with people too
- An online place for me to share the stuff I create without worrying about if an algorithm is going to pick it up
All I want to say is “Bring Back the Homepage!” They used to be amazing. The early adopters off the internet used to create their own “little corner of the internet” and that’s what I’m doing. I’m grabbing a bunch of old towels and making myself a den
